Basic structure of hydraulic valve

The main components of the control device include the valve body, valve spool, and driving spool, which move relative to each other within the valve body. The valve spool can take the form of a ball valve, slide valve, or cone valve. In addition to the valve spool holes or valve seat holes that match the valve spool, the valve body also has inlet and outlet ports for external oil pipes and a drain port. The device that enables the driving spool to move relative to the valve body can be a manual control mechanism, a spring, an electromagnet, or in some cases, hydraulic pressure.


Working principle of hydraulic valve

Hydraulic valves control the opening and closing of valve ports and the size of the opening by utilizing the relative movement of the valve spool within the valve body, thus achieving pressure, flow, and directional control. When a hydraulic valve is working, the relationship between the size of all valve ports, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet ports of the valve, and the flow through the valve needs to follow the flow formula (q=KA·Δp m).


Characteristics of hydraulic valve

1. Can achieve efficient electromagnetic action. The built-in push rod in the device can quickly provide buffering effects and ensure smooth and noiseless operation even under high pressure. The device also has sliding cores that can quickly eliminate oil leakage caused by friction between push rods.


2. The valve body of the hydraulic valve is mostly designed to minimize internal impedance, allowing for efficient energy utilization. This is in line with the current energy-saving concept, making it highly regarded by more people.


3. By controlling the oil temperature, hydraulic valves can reduce equipment failures and save a significant amount of maintenance costs. The internal temperature is controlled within a reliable range through an intelligent system, preventing processing accuracy errors caused by excessive heat.


Functions and importance of hydraulic valves

Hydraulic control valves (referred to as hydraulic valves) are control components in hydraulic systems. Their function is to control the flow direction, pressure, and flow rate of the liquid in the hydraulic system, so as to provide the required motion direction, speed (or rotational speed), and thrust (or torque) for hydraulic actuators and their driven mechanisms.
