How does the hydraulic cylinder work?

The hydraulic cylinder is an actuator in a hydraulic system. It is generally composed of a cylinder body, a piston rod (also called a piston rod), and seals. The cylinder body is divided into two parts by a piston, each connected to an oil port. Due to the small compression ratio of the liquid, when one of the oil ports is filled with oil, the piston will be pushed to push the oil out of the other oil port. The piston drives the piston rod to extend or retract accordingly. When the solenoid valve opens the oil supply circuit, the hydraulic pump continuously supplies oil to the cylinder, and the pressure of the oil causes the piston to rise. When the pressure is released, the solenoid valve closes the oil supply circuit and opens the oil return circuit, allowing the oil in the cylinder to gradually return to the oil tank, causing the piston to gradually descend.
